Lee), Margaret Randolph (Mrs. Francis Asbury Dickins), and Mrs. Anna Maria Fitzhugh, describing civilan life in northern Virginia during the Civil War; also records of expenditures made by George Wythe Randolph while he was Confederate envoy to Europe to procure supplies, and later correspondence concerning his pardon; one group of letters by Jane Hollins Nicholas "Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Randolph" of "Edgehill", Albemarle County, Virginia, to a cousin concerning the hardships of the war and reconstruction at her farm.
